Innovation: ISATEC earth anchor system

Large-format slabs and paving stones are subjected to enormous loads because they are primarily used in areas where heavy trucks and buses drive, turn or stop. The vehicles’ high own weight and traffic patterns may cause slab dislodgement. In response to this issue, Romex PFM developed the ISATEC anchor system (“Innovative Street Anchor Technology”), which is to absorb shear and torsional loads and to transfer them via the structural system.
