The owner-managed Fuchs corporate family took over the Drössler Group based in Siegen with effect from April 01, 2024 and will continue the business in future as Fuchs Fertigteilwerke Siegen GmbH. Thus, throughout Germany the city in North Rhine-Westphalia represents the seventh production site of the group of companies manufacturing precast concrete systems.

CEO Conrad Fuchs explains the acquisition of the nearly 100 years old traditional company with a strategic expansion of the product portfolio at Fuchs and the potential of synergy effects in sales and the production technologies.

Key expertise of Drössler are the large-volume prestressed concrete tanks for various fields of application in the sectors of environmental technology and renewable energy. The carefully prefabricated elements get an extraordinarily high pressure stability by additional prestressing during assembly. This allows the realization of circular tanks with individual compartments with capacities of up to 25,000 m³. The future production of Fuchs will manufacture circular tanks, andoc tanks, oval tanks and rectangular structures for various kinds of application. Water plants and waste-water treatment plants, biogas plants and storage tanks impress by low-porous surfaces without shrinkage holes, maximum variability and long service life – a factor that should not be underestimabed in view of the carbon footprint in the life cycle.
