SLG Online Symposium on Concrete Paving Construction Methods: 5 November 2025

This year's SLG symposium on ‘Concrete Paving Construction Methods’ will once again be held online in cooperation with the Concrete Information Centre. The programme offers current and industry-relevant topics presented by expert speakers. Once again, the lion's share will be devoted to technical topics, but the issue of sustainability will not be neglected either. There will be presentations on the current FGSV paving construction regulations, on transition areas between paving and slab coverings and buildings, and an overview of typical damage to paving and slab coverings with concrete elements from an expert's perspective.
The two presentations ‘Function and requirements of paved surfaces and slab coverings in sponge cities’ and ‘Comparative life cycle assessment of terrace structures with different surface layers’ will provide useful information on sustainability.
The symposium is primarily aimed at road construction engineers, landscape architects, planning and construction companies in the gardening, landscaping and road construction sectors, public and private builders and experts, as well as employees of SLG member companies.
