The precast concrete manufacturer Dennert facilitates the construction of large-volume properties with factory-prefabricated bathroom modules. The fully equipped, customised modules are produced according to certified production processes in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001 and are installed by crane during the shell construction phase. They are connected to the building technology in just a few hours. The time-consuming coordination of several trades such as screed, drywall construction, tiling, building services installation, plumbing and painting work is no longer necessary.
Everything installed
Everything is already installed in the modules: insulated cold and hot water pipes, non-slip tiles, toilet, shower and washbasin with mirror. The walls are tiled to the desired height, the waste water pipes and the drain for the shower are integrated into the floor slab. The slimline lightweight concrete design of the modules also results in increased space efficiency. The modules are available in different sizes and designs: S, M and L and in three standard designs - depending on the arrangement of the sanitary equipment across the corner, opposite or in a line. The internal floor area ranges from 3.60 to 7.70 square metres. From 4.90 square metres, the bathroom modules can also be barrier-free (e.g. with grab rails) and from 6.80 square metres wheelchair-accessible (with a higher toilet and backrest). Independently of the standard delivery programme, Dennert also offers the option of producing bathroom modules completely according to individual architect and planner requirements.
The bathroom modules are part of the Dennert construction system, which also includes ceilings, walls, stairs and balconies - all prefabricated to fit perfectly. The system ensures planning reliability and faster construction progress, especially for retirement homes, clinics or residential homes. The aim is a high-quality, low-maintenance and timely construction process. A current example: the construction time for the St. Otto care centre in Bamberg was reduced by a whole year thanks to the use of Dennert modules. ‘Scheduling reliability is a decisive advantage, especially in ongoing operations,’ emphasises Holger Kühne, Sales Manager at Veit Dennert KG.
