KRAUSKOPF MASCHINENTECHNIK

Relocation to new premises right on time to the 10-year anniversary

When it comes to mixing, agglomerating, coating, kneading or any other kind of processing, Krauskopf is the right address for the customers. The company was brought into being in 2013 by the founder and inventive mind Gerhard Krauskopf and has benefited from his many years of experience and know-how in process engineering.

The foundation stone of the company was laid by the TuneMixx mixing tool system, developed and patented in 2012, which was introduced onto the market in 2014. Consulting regarding process engineering on issues about process technology was successively followed by establishing the business of spare and wear parts for mixing plants, crusher, mills, fans and conveyor units (Fig. 1). About three years later, the range of services was complemented by services in the field of inspection, assembly and commissioning, especially for vertical intensive mixers – a plus with which Krauskopf can score, irrespective of the company size.

Because comprehensive and customer-oriented support in addition to high-quality products as well as solution-oriented action are among the company‘s strengths.

With the third pillar – the complete overhaul and repair of used machines – the young business is not only committed to the topic of sustainability, but also supports a resource-conserving handling of raw materials at the same time (Fig. 2).

New production facility erected in 2023

The positive development of the business is reflected by the newly built production facility including administration section and staff rooms – an important step for future growth. Convinced of the positive track record of the company and its innovative and technical product developments, the investments in the new building and machines were accepted under the support program „Spitze auf dem Land!“ - Technology Leaders in Baden-Wuerttemberg. These subsidies were granted under Baden-Wuerttemberg‘s own Rural Development Program (ELR - Entwicklungsprogramm Ländlicher Raum) and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).

The spatial enlargement (Fig. 3) has created an essential basis for achieving the next goals – the manufacture of own mixers. The development team around Krauskopf is already pursuing the „MIM“ – Multi-functional intensive Mixer research project for some time now. A series of new mixers with capacities of 375 l up to 6,000 l per batch is developed in this context – convincing with innovative detailed solutions. This work was recognized by Stifterverband für die Deutsche Wissenschaft e.V. (Donors‘ Association for German Science) in 2022 with the „Innovative through Research“ award. The project will last for two years and will be concluded at the end of 2024. The new product series is expected to be ready for the market in 2025, being presented to the public then.

General Manager, Fabian Krauskopf, is proud of being allowed to lead the small company as the intended successor of the company founder in the sense of the pioneer into the future and to build up and develop further growth in all business units together with a great team on his side (Fig. 4).
