Company founder celebrates 80th birthday

In June 2014, Gerhard ­Würschum, the founder of ­Würschum GmbH, turned 80. After an apprenticeship as model maker which was followed by studying engineering at the University of Applied ­Sciences in Esslingen, Würschum started work at Liebherr located in Bad Schussenried. The first stationary mixing towers were developed there and Würschum dealt with fundamental questions about the preparation of concrete mixtures and the availability and distribution of concrete at the construction site.
