Great events

Great events cast their shadows ahead. In my last greetings to you, dear readers, there was already repeated mention of important dates – concerning industry meetings, specialist congresses and concrete plant reports.

But now the really crucial phase is beginning of which in particular the 67th BetonTage Congress in Ulm, from 20 to 22 June stands out. Accordingly, Friedrich Gebhart, President of our respected industry partner FBF Betondienst, will greet you in our next BFT, 6/2023. This issue will also serve as conference program and proceedings for the approximately 2,000 participants expected, and BFT International will traditionally take part in the event as media partner. This leading congress of the concrete and precast industry will demonstrate industrial solutions for reducing the ecological footprint under the motto “Turning Point in Concrete Construction.” All plenary presentations on the first two days of the congress will be streamed and simultaneously interpreted into English at the congress. The accompanying exhibition of the supplier, engineering and software industry will be another focal point. We look forward to greeting one and all of you at our BFT Café.

Another highlight that you should not miss is the BIBM Congress 2023 that will take place from 27 to 29 September at the Okura Hotel in Amsterdam. Also at this European industry summit – organized as in the previous year by the Building Congress Forum (BCF) – BFT will play a major role. For both events, more than 650 participants, 40 speakers and 80 exhibitors are expected. A few remaining tickets are, by the way, still available.

In this sense I wish you much enjoyment in reading this issue.
