New Sealing Profile Concept for the Albvorland tunnel

The Albvorland tunnel is currently under construction in the expansion of the pan-European high-speed rail network. The building contractor, Deutsche Bahn Netz AG, places higher requirements on safety – also when it comes to the special sealing profiles between the lining segments.

Within the scope of the pan-European high-speed rail network expansion the approximately 60 km long new ICE railway line is being developed in the south-eastern portion of the metropolitan region of Stuttgart between Wendlingen and Ulm. From a transnational standpoint, it is a partial segment of the routing between Bratislava and Paris and is directly connected to the current large-scale project Stuttgart 21.
