International competition of concrete artists

Concrete as source material for works of art – with this idea and his passion for art ­Albrecht Braun created in 1999 the competition “Artist at Work.” This year, the managing partner of braun-steine, based in the ­German city of Amstetten, ­welcomed artists and guests on the Island of Mainau in Lake Constance. On board were, apart from braun-steine and Mainau GmbH as main sponsors, among other sponsors, Dyckerhoff AG, Harold Scholz & Co. GmbH, BetonMarketing Süd GmbH, and NOE Schaltechnik Georg ­Meyer-Keller GmbH + Co. KG.
