The Arena licensed group held a meeting in Esslingen (Germany) at the end of 2012. Albrecht Braun of braun-Steine located in Amstetten illustrated the 20-year history of the paver system Arena in an impressive way. Owing to the special, irregular shape of the pavers and the resulting joints, the pavement features a permanently high permeability. An average rainfall of 750 l/m² per year adds up to about 1.58 billion liters of rainwater in 20 years, seeping away through Arena pavements and being successfully returned to nature.
