Webinar on Resilient Planning and Construction

On October 14, 2026, solid Unit e.V. will host the webinar “Resilient?! Planning and Building to Withstand Extreme Weather and Crises” from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The webinar will focus on how buildings and neighborhoods can be planned and built to be more resilient under changing climatic, legal, and societal conditions.

The program combines presentations on research, building law, and risk management with real-world examples. Dipl.-Ing. Heike Böhmer from the Institute for Building Research will provide insights into current research on resilient construction. Iris Glönkler from Luther Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft will address legal issues, while Christian Brauner will discuss risk management.

In addition, several real-world projects will be presented. These include the net-zero office building “RESI,” the Erlenhöfe in Jena, and the Heidemarie Lex-Nalis educational campus.

Participation costs 69 euros for non-members and 39 euros for members of solid Unit. Students and faculty may attend free of charge. Registration is available via the event calendar at www.solid-unit.de.
