An ecological and energy-efficient building that offers free space and comfort, as well as protection and care – these were the specifications for the construction of the new Zollernalb shelter for cats in Albstadt-Tailfingen/Germany. The external walls of lightweight aggregate concrete ensure optimal energy efficiency without additional thermal protection, while the fair-faced concrete exterior communicates the desired solidity and safety.
