Limitation of crack formation in reinforced and ­prestressed concrete

On the occasion of the introduction of Eurocode 2 DIN EN 1992 “design of concrete structures” including the associated national annexes for building construction and bridge construction in 2012 and 2013, respectively, and in consideration of the experiences made with the previous version of 2006, the DBV Code of Practice on “limitations of crack formation in reinforced and prestressed concrete construction” was revised in 2016 [1].
