Splitting concrete blocks

Techno Split delivers a new system to Norway

 Last year, Techno Split delivered his first splitting line to Norway - to the company Vikaune FabrikkerAS. Just a littlelater, the company located in the Italian Trentino region could install the second production line in the region. The newsplitting line has now been taken into operation by the Norwegian company Multiblokk AS in Sandnes.

Techno Split, an Italian business, exports its high quality and professionalism all over the world, supplying manual, semi-automatic and fully automatic splitting lines as well as simple and inexpensive splitting machines. The company recently delivered a new system for splitting concrete blocks to Norway.

Project

A similar splitting line was already delivered to Dubai in 2008. This new U-shaped splitting line offers the immediate advantage of doubling the production output compared to the “basic system”. This type of system may be initially equipped with one or two jib cranes, with the option of expanding it further in the future. If required, the jib cranes can be replaced with an automatic gripper.

A few figures should provide a real picture of how the production output can be varied according to the modular structure of the Techno Split systems used: a “basic” system can process 30 to 40 pallets per day, which gives a total daily output of 1,500 to 2,000 blocks. By contrast, the U-shaped splitting line already starts from a much higher baseline (about 50 pallets). If automatic grippers are added, an output of approx. 70 to 80 pallets per day can be achieved. Regarding the technical specifications of the splitting machine, it provides a splitting length of about 800 mm and a height of 280 mm its splitting strength amounts to 60 to.

Company Mission

Techno Split takes pride in the results achieved in the past few years. The success of the business based in the Trentino region is due, amongst other factors, to its continued focus on the stability and robustness of the machinery and on the utmost degree of equipment safety, which is ensured by a large number of protective devices and installations.

A new Techno Split system always begins with a risk assessment. The reduction of risks to a minimum is examined both by the owner of Techno Split and by an external engineer who deals with health and safety in the workplace. This collaboration process begins on the drawing board and continues throughout the duration of the job. All systems are provided with safety barriers, grids and protective enclosures with gates that safely prevent the access of people during the splitting cycle.

Techno Split firmly believes that any of its clients who buys these products should expect the delivery of sturdy, state-of-the-art machines that offer highest performance and safety.
