BFT Mixing Technology Forum 2026 at Kortmann Beton

Hardly any other topic in the concrete industry is as hotly debated as mixing technology. Is a planetary mixer the right choice for my product, or would a disc mixer, counterflow mixer, twin-shaft mixer, or cone mixer be better?

The BFT Mixing Technology Forum serves as a communication platform for suppliers and manufacturers. With a practical and application-oriented approach, the symposium provides a comprehensive examination of the manufacturing process, the machinery used, specific aspects of concrete technology, and the materials and equipment involved – ranging from the mixer type itself to wear protection and the correct mix design.

Diverse Program with Concrete plant tour

The event will take place on October 8 at the Kortmann GmbH concrete plant in Schüttorf. Participants can look forward to a diverse program of presentations.

This program is supported by the premium partners Haarup, Eirich, Ubo Engineering, Würschum, VHV-Anlagenbau, Cemex, AJF, Bikotronic, and Sonocrete. Some of these companies were already involved in the construction of the new mixing plant at Kortmann Beton (see also the report in BFT 09/2025).

Julian Krümpel, Managing Director of Kortmann Beton and host of the event, will deliver the opening remarks; the technical forum will be moderated by BFT Editor-in-Chief Silvio Schade. The lecture program will be complemented by an accompanying exhibition. Following the event, participants can look forward to a tour of the concrete plant and the mixing tower.
