French CSTB certifies Cemex Beton-Bauteile GmbH

In the course of the stringent approval procedure applied for the French market, the precast concrete manufacturer improves the own factory production control system.

The CE logo itself is not sufficient to sell a precast concrete component in France. It is furthermore necessary for the manufacturer to have the national technical approval Avis Technique, in short ATec. This proves the applicability of products and applications. Now, the national institute Centre Scientifique et Technique du Bâtiment (CSTB – Center of Science and Technology for the Construction Industry) has tested the conformity of the double wall production of Cemex’s precast concrete factory at Bad Dürkheim (Germany).
