“I am proud that over the past eight years, we have successfully transformed Holcim Germany from a pure building materials manufacturer into an innovative provider of comprehensive building materials solutions. I am pleased that Stephan Hinrichs, a longtime colleague who has played a key role in driving the development of recent years, is taking over this responsibility. Together, Holcim and Xella will now serve customer needs in Germany even better. And our close personal relationship will further ensure a smooth integration.”

Stephan Hinrichs, an experienced manager who has been with the company since 2004, is taking over. He began his career as a working student at the Holcim cement plant in Lägerdorf. After completing a dual degree program in industrial engineering, he held various management positions both in Germany and abroad within the Holcim Group. For the past two years, he has served as Industrial Director, overseeing cement production for the German division of the group. A native of Schleswig-Holstein, he lives with his family in northern Germany.
