The Innovation Prize of the Supplier Industry for Concrete Components 2026 goes to the Munich-based company Emidat. The award was given for a digital platform for verified environmental and product data, which is designed to make it easier for manufacturers of building materials to create and provide relevant information.
The award was presented during the 70th BetonTage in Ulm. The award recognizes innovative products, processes, and services that contribute to the further development of the precast concrete industry.
Platform for verified environmental and product data
The solution developed by Emidat aims to digitize and automate the creation and management of environmental product declarations (EPDs). According to the submission, the platform enables the structured collection, verification, and provision of environmental and product data for building materials.
The solution thus addresses the growing requirements for transparent and reliable sustainability information in the construction industry. Manufacturers should be able to provide environmental information more efficiently and make it usable for different applications.
Innovation Award of the Concrete Components Supply Industry
The Innovation Prize of the Supplier Industry for Concrete Components is presented during the BetonTage conference. It is sponsored by FBF Betondienst GmbH in cooperation with BFT International. The award recognizes developments that provide new impetus for the manufacture and application of concrete components or improve production processes.
The submissions from Heidelberg Materials and Steeltec also received special recognition.
