Stormwater management and design brought down to a common denominator

So as to be able to assure an even water balance in the ground, planners and architects prefer to use ecological paving systems when it comes to the conceptual design of paved areas. They allow a direct seepage of the precipitation right on the spot. With their Greenstar lawn pavers, FCN demonstrates how attractive a modern area design with drainage effect may look like.

Due to the straight layout of lines, the narrow-looking rectangular slab shapes are above all suitable for being used in functional-modern architecture. Three joints arranged in parallel with a width of 4 cm each achieve an elegant effect. These are arranged transversely to the direction of installation, so that an interesting picture with a striped look emerges across the surface area. The proportion of the open to closed areas is 1/3 to 2/3.

Depending on the requirements, the joints can be filled up with basalt chippings or greened with grass. Greening is perfectly possible as the paver thickness of 8 cm and the width of the webs leave enough space for the lawn grid substrate. This promotes the growth of grass.

The Greenstar lawn paver is available in two color shades – gray (plain-colored) and Nordic gray dark (striped). The dimensions are 60 x 40 cm in the two thicknesses of 8 and 10 cm. Featuring load class B2, the lawn paver is suitable for areas with low traffic loads such as car parking spaces, car ports or site driveways.
