The frame sections are reinforced at the top and bottom by means of reinforced-concrete girders which maintain a specified distance between the ground floor and first floor sections stacked on top of one another. A cavity is thus created that is used to lay electrical cables and water pipes

IQWoning Fabriek produces residential buildings in modular design ranging from plain subsidized housing to spick-and-span terraced homes. The building system and production processes have been structured with maximum efficiency in mind.

In the huge new factory building of IQWoning Fabriek, they have been arranged in long rows, one behind the other, and in stacks as high as a house – frame sections produced from self-compacting concrete (SCC). These sections are the core elements of the modular building system marketed un-der the “IQWoning” brand name; they are used to assemble different types of houses of the 5.4 and 6.3 series.
