Prospects in Europe from a supplier‘s point of view –
Because of the keen competition here in Germany, many suppliers of small wastewater treatment plants are heading to the other European countries. They mostly hope to escape from the German competitive pressure in this way. The European standard EN 12566 has them believe that it is now possible to supply small wastewater treatment plants across Europe according to the same pattern. However, it isn‘t that easy. There are suppliers of small wastewater treatment plants outside Germany too. The markets outside Germany are also apportioned. But how can a German supplier be successful abroad?
