New software system for precast element design and production planning

Introducing a new IT system obviously involves a lot of effort. Klebl, a precast business based in the Upper Palatinate region in the German State of Bavaria, decided to implement this technical change in a step-by-step process. Having worked with the Nemetschek systems Allplan Precast and TIM for about a year, Dipl.-Ing. Bernhard Heilmeier (Klebl) reports on initial insights and experience.

However, this approach does not solve all the existing problems, many of which are related to tiny details, which is why we have to define the specific requirements ourselves.
