Vollert Anlagenbau GmbH

Extended product portfolio

From 15 to 21 April, Vollert Anlagenbau presents its extended product portfolio at the Bauma trade show in the German city of Munich for stationary solutions in the manufacture of precast concrete products – for the first time with the traditional Nuspl brand. In addition, attention will focus on numerous innovations in machine technology for precast plants and for the production of prestressed concrete sleepers. Furthermore, the Smart Set shuttering robot will be featured in action at stand 204, hall B 1.

“At Bauma we have the opportunity to present many innovations for enhancing plant productivity in precast plants, demonstrated on concrete examples from customers – from automated concrete spreaders to optimized pallet turning equipment for double wall production,” says managing director Hans-Jörg Vollert, who looks forward to this leading international trade show held this year for the 30th time. Among the innovations are the Smart Set shuttering robot with optimum parameters in terms of speed, acceleration, and precision. The robust multifunction robot plots and positioned CAD/CAM-controlled shutters and embedded components with a precision of ±0.4mm, notably shortening in this way the shuttering and striking process.

Stationary solutions

But other success stories from all over the world will also be presented at the show. In 2012, several precast plants equipped with state-of-the-art Vollert technology were launched: e.g., in France, India, and Singapore.

Another highlight is the extended product line for stationary formwork building. With the traditional Nuspl brand, Vollert as of now offers comprehensive solutions for high-performance tilting tables and battery forms and presents its services as a one-stop provider for production of large-area and structural concrete elements. Plant engineering for columns and beam formwork, as well as stair and special formwork – for example, for elevator shafts and light wells – round out the portfolio.

For prestressed concrete sleepers, concrete plants and building contractors are increasingly investing in highly automated production facilities. In the new concrete sleeper plant of Inkol Insaat, a subsidiary of the Turkish Kolin Group, 450,000 prestressed concrete sleepers of type B70 are manufactured annually using Vollert technology. The sleepers are delivered ready for laying: i.e., the entire reinforcement is built into the sleeper, which is prestressed according to the standards, and the rail fastenings preinstalled.

In use worldwide

All of the solutions are showcased at Bauma 2013, with demonstrations from specific customer projects. Plant and machinery solutions from Vollert have been in operation worldwide in more than 80 countries. With the establishment of new sales companies in China, India and Brazil, the company is strengthening its activities in the Asian and South American markets. The new sales companies are represented at Bauma as well.

Everything worth knowing about the highlights and premieres from Vollert is now available on the Internet (//www.precast-success.com" target="_blank" >www.precast-success.com:www.precast-success.com). The website has a link for arranging meetings.
