The most recent problems in the European economy and thus in the construction industry on the one hand – gigantic foreign construction projects as, for example, on the Arabian Peninsula or in South-East Asia, on the other hand, were also mirrored in bauma. The enormous interest in equipment for the manufacture of precast parts continues to exist. Notwithstanding the partly complicated conditions that some visitors to the fair had to overcome to get there, the exhibitors of the concrete and precast concrete industry had no reason to complain of a lack of interest.

The equipment offered for the manufacture of precast parts reflected the advances that were made since bauma 2007, such as, for example, the development of flexible formwork systems, as well as the further development of special production equipment and control systems.
