Latitude 45°47‘7“S; longitude 67°27‘55“W; and elevation 58 m MSL are the geographic data of Comodoro Rivadavia city, in Argentina – one of the largest countries in the world. In addition, there exist a wide range of climate and geological zones in this country. When a company decides to build a paving block plant where penguins find optimal living conditions, this requires rethinking, effective organization, as well as technical adjustment.

The company

The PCR S. A. group (of which the Construction Division is a part), is a private corporation, established in Patagonia, which has been operating successfully for over 80 years. The Group primarily manufactures and sells building materials (cement, concrete blocks and pavers, adhesives, etc.) and explores, develops and extracts fossil fuels (oil and gas).
