New Rekers block production plant installed in Poland

The company “Ceg-Tor“ K. Szubierajski i Spolka Sp. J. is one of the major manufacturers of ready-mixed concrete, paving blocks and concrete elements in the Torun region. In order to meet the demands of the growing markets in Poland, the decision was made to purchase a new block production plant.  It has been decided here under the submitted bids for the most innovative installation of the German engineer Rekers GmbH that features numerous documented solutions and fulfils the requirements of item 4.4 of the Polish subsidy program.

History

The company originated in 1997 through the purchase of the Torun Ceramics Plant “Grebocin Subsidiary“ in Torun, Poland. In 1999, a new plant was put into operation that added a wide range of concrete products to its product portfolio, e.g. paving blocks, wall blocks and kerbstones.

Ceg-Tor’s key customers are the region’s major construction companies as well as individual customers. Other market areas served are block paving companies, road construction firms and wholesale dealers.
