The development of new silicate binder systems providing innovative properties is one of the main fields of activity of the Maleki GmbH based in Osnabrück, Germany. The products can be used both for the surface protection of new buildings as well as the refurbishment, repair and renovation of sewer systems and manhole structures. Owing to the reactions with the components of the cement they form a stable, acid resistant silicate surface (C-S-H phase) in the substrate matrix, thereby providing a durable protection against any intrusion of harmful substances, water and moisture.
