Combilift Wins Third Red Dot Award for New Electric 7-Tonne Multidirectional Forklift

Irish specialist manufacturer Combilift, known for its multidirectional and customised handling solutions, has received the 2025 Red Dot Award for Product Design for its new Combi-CB70E. The high-capacity, electric-powered forklift was developed to meet the demands of heavy-duty, long-load handling with a focus on sustainability.
The Red Dot Award is one of the most internationally recognised competitions for design innovation and quality. This marks the third Red Dot for Combilift, following previous wins for the Combi-WR and the ‘Best of the Best’ distinction for the Combi-CB4. The latest accolade highlights the ergonomic design, environmental performance, and operator-focused features of the Combi-CB70E, which convinced the international jury with its practical innovation.
Focus on Ergonomics and Electric Performance

Designed for long and bulky loads in tight or demanding environments, the Combi-CB70E is a 7-tonne capacity electric counterbalance forklift. It features Combilift’s patented Independent Traction Control System and large elastic rubber tyres, enabling all-terrain performance with zero emissions. Operator visibility and comfort are enhanced through the spacious, gas-strut suspension cab with floor-to-ceiling glazing. The Auto Swivel Seat, which automatically pivots 15 degrees depending on the direction of travel, supports ergonomic working conditions even during extended shifts.

The Red Dot recognition rounds off a strong year for Combilift, which has earned several international awards for both product innovation and leadership, including the UKMHA Archies Awards for Product of the Year and Ergonomics, and Engineering & Manufacturing Awards for Design Team of the Year and Industry Leadership.
