Zena-Aqua permeable joint paving supplements its design family

Timelessly elegant surfaces with end-to-end design – this is what the Zena product range from Kann stands for. To meet the requirements of rainwater management, the Zena-Aqua permeable pavement now supplements the popular design family. It solves ecological and visual challenges without difficulty.

Application possibilities offer solutions for larger areas;: for example, entrance areas, forecourts and parking spaces for vehicles. Due to its thickness of 8 cm and its Kanntec10 displacement protection, Zena-Aqua can also be used on areas subjected to light traffic, such as in front of garages. In all, the installation of permeable pavement reduces the proportion of sealed property area and, accordingly, the fee for discharged surface water – the amount of which depends on the municipal statues.

Precise joint pattern and high infiltration capacity

When laid, Zena-Aqua, with its granite-like appearance, looks like the classic Zena pavement. Because the permeable joint pavement is manufactured without chamfer, the result is an especially precise joint pattern. The difference consists of the permeable joint, 5 mm wide, which securely discharges precipitation into the subsoil. The infiltration capacity is 1,160 l/(s × ha). Lateral spacers ensure adherence to joint-width specifications.

Kann offers Zena-Aqua in the two color shades granite-gray and anthracite, in the format 40 x 20 cm. With this size, for example, areas can be laid in stretcher bond or elbow bond. Outdoor installations can be ideally created together with patio slabs, Zena paving and the special Zena edge block for a consistent elegant touch highly suitable for contemporary architecture.
