(57) The present invention provides a precast slab for road pavement that is provided with an improved joint structure; this structure is simple in design but increases shear strength and ensures rigidity. The panel comprises a base body of a predetermined thickness, which has a top and a bottom surface as well as side surfaces connecting them, and a joint section arranged on the side surface of the front edge of the body for connecting to an adjacent body. The joint section includes a protruding strip section formed continuously along the side surface and featuring a vertical step on both opposite sides, as well as an inwardly recessed section designed to interlock with the strip section of an adjacent body.
