New Filling Aid for Earth-Moist Concrete

With Murasan Hydrotech 860 plus, MC-Bauchemie has launched a new filling aid for the production of concrete products based on earth-moist concrete. Thanks to its additional compaction effect, the product ensures better component quality and workability.

Murasan Hydrotech 860 plus is used in the production of concrete products made from earth-moist concrete, such as paving stones or palisades. It is used wherever many molds are placed simultaneously on a production plate and uniform filling is crucial. MC’s new filling aid has a surface-active effect and reduces cohesion in the concrete.

Easy processing

This makes the earth-moist concrete more “flowable” and allows it to distribute better within the mold, enabling more uniform filling of all mold areas. Density differences between the center and edge areas of the production plate are reduced, voids are minimized, and surface quality is improved. The product also allows for the addition of slightly more mixing water without increasing stickiness or compromising early strength. This enhances the overall product quality.

Murasan Hydrotech 860 plus is used like a classic concrete admixture: It is added to the fresh concrete during the mixing process. Ideally, it should be added along with the last portion of the mixing water. Afterward, the concrete should be mixed for at least 60 seconds to fully activate the product.
