Elsäßer Shapes the Future under the Umbrella of the Fuchs Group

On July 3, 2026, Elsäßer and Fuchs set the course for a shared future. Effective January 1, 2027, Egon Elsäßer Bauindustrie GmbH & Co. KG, headquartered in Geisingen, will become part of the Fuchs corporate family, which operates nationwide.

“Together, we want to continue Elsäßer’s more than 50-year history and further develop the company with new ideas, products, and an adapted organizational structure within our network of precast plants,” said Conrad Fuchs, CEO of the Fuchs Group. “The strategically important Geisingen location, known for its expertise in precast floor slabs, double walls, and thermal walls, perfectly complements our capabilities in residential construction and strengthens our presence in the southwest.”

Marlies Elsäßer-Heitz, owner of Elsäßer, emphasizes: “We have found the right partner in Fuchs. We are united by shared values and a passion for precast construction. We will responsibly carry on the Elsäßer tradition and tackle the diverse challenges together.”

A Stronger Future Through Integration and Synergies

The merger creates financial leeway for Elsäßer to invest and innovate. The company will be integrated into the lean and future-proof structures of the Fuchs Group. In combination with Fuchs Fertigteilwerke Süd GmbH, which recently acquired Beton-Betz in Kirchardt, a strong regional unit is emerging in the precast concrete construction sector for residential building in the Southwest region. This pooling of capacities and expertise creates greater market power and a broader range of services for competitive bids and large-scale projects.

The production site in Geisingen will be specifically strengthened. The approximately 120 existing jobs will be fully retained. Marlies Elsäßer-Heitz will continue to actively support the company’s further development and play a central role in the new structure. Business partners, customers, and suppliers will be informed of further details as appropriate.
