Thermolitys: Ultralight, high thermal efficiency

Growing emphasis on the concept of sustainable construction is having a substantial effect on materials: they must be able to combine structural strength, energy efficiency, and low environmental impact. The research centre of the French concrete industry developed Thermolitys, a new range of ultralight concrete. The material with the European patent EP 2 364 962 is supposed to be a construction material of tomorrow.
