Schimpf becomes member of the management board

By September 1st 2016 Dr. Arno Schimpf became member of the management board of the Wasa Compound GmbH & Co KG as well as the Wasa Management GmbH in Neubrunn/Thuringia. He is supplementing the both managing directors Matthias Bechtold and Peter Webel. Furthermore, Dr. Schimpf gets power of procuration for the Wasa GmbH & Co KG. The 52-year-old will be mainly responsible for the production of boards as well as wetcast molds and hermetic matrices.

With Schimpf an expert for plastics and recycling spearheads the company. As a mechanical engineer Schimpf was working for the WKR GmbH in Worms where he became managing director in 2001. For more than 20 years WKR GmbH is the major supplier of all plastics for the Wasa Uniplast and Wasa Uniplast Ultra.

“I am looking forward to my new tasks and challenges at the Wasa group of companies which I already know for over 20 years by being their previous supplier”, Schimpf says. “Also in the future Wasa will aim high, for example by extending the worldwide sales of wetcast molds and hermetic matrices. To continue high customer satisfaction is the goal that we  – management as well as the entire team – pursue with top priority.”
