Light transmitting concrete projects

Light transmitting concrete has been invented in the 1930ies. Since then, this utopia – the combination of light and concrete – many publications in scientific and public magazines have been spread around the world focusing on architectural possibilities of Light Transmitting Concrete.

In the end of the 20th century a wider group of companies started a first serial production of light transmitting concrete. Partially even larger well known companies as Heidelberg Cement were involved in the worldwide marketing.
