FBS booth showcases wide variety of custom shapes and designs at Ifat
“FBS precast components keep you in good shape – guaranteed” – this is the overarching motto of Fachvereinigung Betonrohre und Stahlbetonrohre e.V. (FBS; German Association for Concrete Pipes and Reinforced Concrete Pipes) and its member companies at this year’s international IFAT trade show. In the fourth consecutive year, the joint booth in Hall B5 329/428 will provide the participating companies and sponsor members with the opportunity to present their businesses and products to a specialist audience. The exhibition area covers about 400 m² and provides ample space for visitors to view current information on sustainability, various types of concrete, state-of-the-art application and production technologies, and precast products for sewer systems that respond to changing climate conditions and environmental requirements. The following companies will be participating: Berding Beton GmbH, Betonwerk Müller GmbH & Co. KG, Finger Baustoffe GmbH, Josef Schnurrer GmbH & Co. KG, Hawkeye Pedershaab, Hans Rinninger & Sohn GmbH & Co. KG, and Prinzing-Pfeiffer GmbH.
For almost 30 years, the FBS and its members have been advocating a high quality standard of concrete pipes and manholes. The FBS quality label certifies outstanding manufacturing and product quality for precast components used in sewer and wastewater pipes. Exhibitors will particularly focus on all aspects of sustainability, including the use of materials with a low environmental impact. With respect to sewer maintenance, it is often more sustainable to replace a sewer rather than rehabilitating it.
FBS has invited represen-tatives of municipalities and public works departments, engineers and civil contractors as well as industry associations to visit the booth and get first-hand information on the above topics. Also, the FBS Academy will again be held in Munich: students will be invited to visit the booth to attend a series of presentations on designing, constructing and operating sewer and wastewater systems.
