Three Rohrdorfer concrete plants once again receive the “Sicher mit System” seal of approval

For the second time, Rohrdorfer Betonwerke (RBW) has been awarded the “Sicher mit System” (Systematic Safety) certification seal by the German Social Accident Insurance Institution for the Raw Materials and Chemical Industry (BG RCI). The first award was made in 2018 following the development and introduction of a comprehensive occupational health and safety management system. Now the company has successfully undergone the audit again: the RBW sites in Lanhofen, Berglern, and Dollnstein have been awarded the seal of approval.
Safety and health protection
The certification is a voluntary and free service offered by BG RCI and is recognized by many clients when proof of occupational safety management is required in the context of awarding a contract. Employees of certified companies benefit in particular, as the criteria for the seal of approval form the basis for a safe workplace. In addition to compliance with legal requirements, the focus is above all on establishing an effective occupational safety organization. This includes regular safety training and meetings on occupational safety. The conscious handling of hazardous substances and the documentation and evaluation of near misses are also essential. Safety and health protection are systematically planned and consistently exemplified by managers. Employees are actively involved in this process at all times.
With the awarding of the seal a few weeks ago, BG RCI confirmed the successful implementation at RBW. Those responsible were delighted to receive the certificate and are proud of what they have achieved. However, the award does not mark the end, but rather serves as an incentive for continuous improvement. Occupational safety remains an ongoing task that continues to receive special attention. With the goal of ensuring that all employees return home healthy every day, RBW takes this responsibility seriously.
