A pipe that’s not “off the rack”

In Munich’s Trudering district a three-story school complex was built in keeping with the Passive House Standard, consisting of seven structures. To increase the quality of the air in the classrooms, a ventilation duct was installed using prefabricated concrete construction elements.

As planned, in September 2013 classes began in the new secondary school in Munich’s Trudering district. The three-story school building divided into seven structures as well as a single-story administrative wing with an equipment depot in front were completed in accordance with the plans of the architecture firm Schürmann-Dettinger Architekten and commissioned by the state capital, Munich, Referat für Bildung und Sport [Department of Education and Athletics].
