Prepared for winter production

From aggregate bays to a covered silo system

 In 2007 the family-owned company EBN-Neumünster took the decision to make their production plant more efficient.

Until then the aggregates of the company were stored in aggregate bins outside, and were susceptible to the weather changes in Northern Germany during the winter months. Furthermore the aggregate bays took up almost 800m2 of valuable space, that could be used for other purposes. To solve this problem several companies were contacted during Bauma 2007 and several solutions were discussed.
