The Blaubeuren-based company BFS Betonfertigteil-
systeme GmbH has developed a new technique for the production of monolithic concrete manhole bases of the “new generation”. Capitan is a sophisticated system ranging from the visual manhole design in the production engineering department up to a high-quality manhole base made in the manufacturing process. This system has been presented to the public at this year‘s bauma where it attracted great interest of the large number of trade visitors and gained their acceptance.

From the manhole drawing to the visual manhole in just a few steps:

The newly developed and user-friendly interface allows an easy and safe entry of customer-specific data such as company name, building project, manhole number, etc.

The manhole-specific data such as nominal diameter, number of inlets, kind of channel lining, etc. are as well requested and entered by a special input screen. It is even possible to store drop heights of the inlets. The dimensions of the manhole such as wall thickness and manhole height...
