Fast caliper gauge for concrete pipes

The “MSB 11001” electronic caliper gauge for quality assurance developed by Hecht Electronic AG comes complete with a handy transport case, ensuring that it is ready for use anywhere in the plant or on the construction site. In its basic design, the device is suitable for measuring pipes with nominal diameters of up to 1,000 mm.

The caliper gauge permits measurement of the spigot end lSP, socket length lso, inside diameter d1, wall thickness t, outside diameter da and base width b, thus covering most of the dimensions to be checked as part of quality assurance procedures.

The device measures the diameter electronically with a resolution of 0.01 mm. It has a measuring accuracy of less then ± 0.2 mm across the entire measuring range.

The measurement readings are indicated on a large, clearly visible LC display. Power supply is ensured by two standard AA batteries. Assuming that the tool is used eight hours per day, the...
