Official opening ceremonies at the new Peikko factory in Johor Bahru

Peikko Group Corporation celebrated the grand opening of its newest factory in Johor Bahru, Malaysia on the 18th of October 2023. Peikko was honored to have distinguished guests, Mr. Sami Leino, Ambassador of Finland to Malaysia and Brunei and Mr. Pekka Laitinen, Head of Business Finland APAC, to perform the official opening of the factory. In addition, more than 80 other important stakeholders representing customers, suppliers, partners, and authorities attended the opening ceremonies.
Cutting-edge machinery and production lines
The new facilities comprise of approximately 3,000 square meters of space and are equipped with cutting-edge machinery and production lines. Johor Bahru is ideally positioned to effectively meet the increasing demand of the construction industry in Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, and other Southeast Asian markets. Peikko Malaysia will create new employment opportunities in the region and collaborate closely with local suppliers, contractors, and consultants to support the development of the construction sector in the region.
