New production opened in Switzerland
On 25 April, after two years of planning and construction, a new production of admixtures for concrete was officially inaugurated at the location of MC-Bauchemie in Switzerland. Around 50 customers and partners attended the opening ceremony in Dintikon.
Efficient, environmentally friendly and reliable solution
Short transport routes reduce emissions and thus make an important contribution to sustainability. The geographical proximity to the usage site, moreover, provides a high level of supply security and fast reaction times. Local production, moreover, allows targeted production to the specific framework conditions in Switzerland – such as available raw materials, national standards and country-specific construction methods. Local production is therefore an efficient, environmentally friendly and reliable solution, which meets the requirements of the Swiss construction market. “We do not want to be a German company in Switzerland, but a Swiss company in Switzerland,” emphasizes Nicolaus Müller, Managing Director of the MC-Bauchemie Group during the opening ceremony.
He also praised the commitment of the employees and the project managers who made this day possible. Timur Rönnert, Managing Director of MC-Bauchemie AG in Switzerland, sums up: “The foundation has been laid – now it‘s up to the collaboration with our customers and the framework conditions in the Swiss construction market to jointly develop further sustainable solutions in addition to the existing product portfolio.”
