A key architectural element of the Innovation Greenhouse in Bonn is the striking sandwich facade made of recycled concrete by Hering Bau. The project was previously featured in our 2026 Yearbook (German only), which can be ordered from the Bauverlag Shop.

The Innovation Greenhouse in Bonn exemplifies a new generation of sustainable office buildings. The focus is on combining design clarity, energy efficiency, and the resource-efficient use of materials. A key architectural element of the building, designed by GPG Architektur (Bonn), is the striking sandwich facade made of recycled concrete (RC concrete) – manufactured and supplied by Hering Bau. This facade not only meets functional, structural, and aesthetic requirements but also makes the concept of recycling visible and tangible.
