Up to 1,000 prestressed concrete ­railway sleepers per day from Buenos Aires

The Argentinian company Zonis has already made a name for itself amongst other things in railway and underground construction and decided in 2013 to venture into the precast industry. A new factory for the manufacture of prestressed concrete railway sleepers was thus erected; the production equipment is from WCH, a company based in Rio Claro, Brazil.

The Argentinian building contractor Luis Carlos Zonis S.A. has already made a name for itself with public and private clients from sectors such as railway and underground construction, electromechanical and hydraulic engineering, and environmental technology. Since its establishment in 1974, the company has offered its customers the expert services of an experienced, solid company whose most important assets are its employees and its technical equipment.
