Transit load securement for paving blocks places special requirements on securing the loads of horizontal layers, vertically packed tiles, and keeps package wrappings dry. In order to meet all of these requirements, the packages must be snug-fitted without leaving gaps. Via Cyklop interval tensioning, the strapping bands are expanded to such an extent that the remaining gaps no longer pose a problem. Palletless block packages are stabilized so that block cannot drop down. Vertical strapping of block layers on pallets can be reduced by pallet strapping.
