Save the date: 63rd BetonTage, from 19 to 21 February 2019

A high-caliber program, prominent speakers and collegial networking have been hallmarking the BetonTage in the German city of Neu-Ulm for many years now. The annual industry event will run for the 63rd time from 19 to 21 February 2019. More than 2,000 participants are once again expected at the largest European congress for the concrete and precast concrete industry.

Technical stimuli will be provided in the plenary sessions as well as at the product-specific panel discussions. The events will cover all relevant segments of precast products and will range throughout presentations on cast stone; concrete products for road, landscape and garden construction; as well as pipeline construction. They will include structural precast construction and will cover lightweight concrete and package sewage treatment plants. The presentations will focus on current developments in the area of concrete technology, standardization, manufacturing processes and processing technologies – as well as on industry-relevant economic and legal aspects. The lectures and presentations given at the building construction workshop will pick up on questions arising from day-to-day operations. Interdisciplinary exchange with engineers and architects will take place on the third day of the congress during the session specifically organized for these target groups.

For many years a small regular Russian delegation has voiced its wish to present Russia as a guest country at the BetonTage. Next year that wish will be realized.  The Soccer World Cup in 2018 prompted numerous investments not only in stadiums, but also in infrastructure and urban development, including many exciting projects with precast elements that will be reported on.

In the accompanying exhibition, the companies of the machine and software supplier industry will once again present their products and services. The best new developments will be honored with the Innovation Prize of the Supplier Industry for Concrete Components 2019, within the context of the opening of the congress.

The detailed program will be available at the end of October 2018 at www.betontage.com.
