Production of concrete pressure pipes in the Sultanate of Oman

In the Sultanate of Oman, Amiantit Oman Concrete Products LLC is manufacturing prestressed concrete cylinder pipes being suitable for an operating pressure of up to 25 bar. The state-of-the-art production technology used for all concrete pipes and manholes has been supplied by the Austrian company Schlüsselbauer Technology GmbH & Co. KG.

In 2004, Schlüsselbauer Technology GmbH & Co. KG furnished a pressure pipe production for the first time with completely new production engineering. Since then, several machines and equipment for such production processes have constantly been further developed and/or completely redeveloped (see BFT International 05/2013). This innovative overall concept has quite recently been implemented in a new facility for the production of prestressed concrete cylinder pipes, among others, on a large-scale in the Sultanate of Oman.
