New connections for BAU 2017

Schöck, the manufacturer of construction products located in southwest Germany, will exclusively present their latest Isokorb generation as a global innovation at BAU 2017 in hall A1 booth No. 119. Due to the further development the product not only achieves an improved thermal insulation performance, but also unites the proven Isokorb technology with an innovative material performance for the first time. This innovation also dominates the booth architecture: providing a special setting by a balcony that extends over the entire booth and in combination with a spiral this serves as a communication platform. Further innovations are exhibited beneath this balcony roof: the Isokorb KSXT and the Tronsole impact sound insulation system.

Experience model and new web presence

A total of three themed areas allow the visitors to see, experience and test the solutions in terms of building physics, features and benefits using the structural components balcony and staircase in experience models under real-life conditions and virtually by means of multimedia animations. In the virtual world Schöck presents a new web presence, which will be launched on the occasion of the construction trade fair. This is one component of the range of services providing trade visitors with information. They include the Schöck knowledge portal, an enhancement of the BIM service  for planners as well as installation engineers who offer practical tips and advice regarding the installation of the products.

For architects, in particular, Schöck presents the new design manual about staircases. This compendium gives an overview of the structural component stair, which legal requirements have to be considered, and how to plan and design details.
