Distinguished guests,

Our life has been restricted in many areas of society since March 2020. In particular, personal encounters are subject to special restrictions.
We had celebrated the leading congress of personal encounters,
networking and personal continuing training regarding all innovative
topics related to concrete and precast concrete elements with the
BetonTage congress every year again, but we as well had to choose a new form of meeting in these times, because: a year without BetonTage
would not be an alternative!

With the BetonTage congress taking place a 100 % digitally, we venture an experiment, setting new limits of online meetings, online continuing training and online exhibitions. In doing so, striving for perfection remains part of the congress’ philosophy as a mirror image of our innovative industry.

We also intend to promote the innovations in building with concrete
by the digital BetonTage congress 2021. It will remain the trade congress with the broadest orientation across all sectors of building with concrete, representing – even stronger than ever before – the entire value-added chain and all its interfaces in the construction with precast concrete elements: architects, structural engineers, manufacturers of concrete elements and cement producers as well as the associated suppliers and building contractors will present their innovations at our congress. The exhibitors, accompanying us along this path as industry partners, are a vital part of the innovation.

The reduction of CO2 emissions and all ways to reaching this goal, resource efficiency, lightweight construction, carbon-reinforced
concretes, digitalization and process innovations, such as 3D printing of buildings and building components, very quickly find their way into
the building industry; this is what we will report about.

We manufacturers of precast concrete elements have always been building in a sustainable manner, because concrete – in marked  contrary to lightweight construction methods – has a long service life, is weather-resistant and is made of local raw materials with short transport distances; it is fully recyclable and offers, apart from these ecological advantages, moderate construction costs, thus creating affordable buildings. Because it is also social sustainability and cost-effectiveness that will continue to characterize the future of
building for all people. Let us continue to shape the future of climate-friendly construction together!

Yours,

x
